| Dynamic Technology's roots date back to the late
1950's. The founder of the current company was a partner in the extremely
successful Cozzens & Cudahy representative company. One of
the original manufacturers represented by C & C, The John Fluke
Manufacturing Company, purchased C & C in 1976 to form their
own direct sales force. Our founder, Harland Crain, started his
own representative company at that time, calling it Dytec/South.
A number of other Dytec companies were started at the same time
by other former C & C partners. All are still in business today
in various electronic markets in the Midwest.
In 1993, a purchase agreement was established between Mr. Crain
and the senior salesmen of the company to ensure continuation of
the company well into the future.
In 1995, our name was changed to Dynamic Technology, Inc. (DTI)
to convey our new image as a supplier to both aerospace and commercial
customers. This also helped to reduce confusion with our customers
that do business with some of the other companies that carry a variation
of the Dytec name.
Also in 1995, an ironic twist of fate found the Fluke Corporation
once again a part of our company. Fluke decided at that time that
representative sales companies were the best solution to their field
sales needs.
DTI operates as an exclusive and/or authorized sales agency for
an outstanding group of manufacturers in our territory consisting
of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Southern/Central Illinois.
We are proud of the partnerships that we have formed and strive
to continually increase our product and application knowledge.
Our goal is to be an extension of our customers' engineering efforts
by bringing them the benefit of our combined experience in test
equipment applications.
We consider ourselves the finest, full-service representative sales
force in the Midwest, and welcome the opportunity to justify this
claim with our customers and manufacturers for many years to come!
